...Was OVERWHELMED with the hits in searching of the archives regarding epoxy...but found little reference to releasing materials.Wax paper precludes the adhesion of the epoxy to saw-horses, other undesired items and finishes, but does it then require a wipe down with MEK or something to rid the surface of the wax from the wax paper? ...or can I just keep adding more layers of glass and ultimately urethane paint over the top with no problem? Seems that I read somewhere that Polyester requires the solvent wipe down but not the epoxy...I have found that when running the glass tape with the west system epoxy that if I press the wax paper onto the wetted-out mess that I can get a pretty fair finish without sanding the dryed glass....less dust is always a good thing. Just wondered if someone had experience with it.... I haven't tried plastic wrap or visqueen yet but understand that may work too. I'll probably experiement in many ways before completing this PK78 dinghy project...
