...Was OVERWHELMED with the hits in searching of the archives regarding epoxy...but found little reference to releasing materials. Wax paper precludes the adhesion of the epoxy to saw-horses, other undesired items and finishes, but does it then require a wipe down with MEK or something to rid the surface of the wax from the wax paper? ...or can I just keep adding more layers of glass and ultimately urethane paint over the top with no problem? Seems that I read somewhere that Polyester requires the solvent wipe down but not the epoxy... I have found that when running the glass tape with the west system epoxy that if I press the wax paper onto the wetted-out mess that I can get a pretty fair finish without sanding the dryed glass....less dust is always a good thing. Just wondered if someone had experience with it.... I haven't tried plastic wrap or visqueen yet but understand that may work too. I'll probably experiement in many ways before completing this PK78 dinghy project...

I agree...kinda

I don't understand what you are talking about in the first paragraph. The later part makes sense exceptthe removing the wax part. I use duct tape to help it hold shape. It works well and removes easily.

Have you called West?

Sometimes the manufacturer is the best source of information. I'm sure you tried their web site listed below.
