Best price for an old jib?

Hi there!

I recently bought a 1984 Catalina 30 and found an old jib that I can't use any more now that I have a furling headstay. How much should I sell it for? $500? $300? $200? Nothing?

Hank on huh not much demand for thanks anymore sail not bad looking get price to convert to #6 luff from local sailmaker and use as storm sail or back up sail

Sold it on CL for $150, coincidentally to someone on my own dock.

I was going to suggest taking it to a loft and getting a price on making it a spare furling sale.

Yeah the local north sails place diad it would cost $400. Hardly seemed worth it since I've already got two

When I went to roller furler I gave some sails to the animal shelter for shade and others to a group collecting sails to send to Haiti for the fishermen.

Wow that's a really good idea. I was wondering about any other uses that a large, light, and durable piece of fabric would have.
