Best method for cleaning hull carpeting

Purchased a hunter 25.5 this fall. I need advice on what to use and how to clean the carpet attached to the hull of the boat and do I need to worry about carpet adhesion coming loose.

The stains can off easy with a regular of the shelve product on my Oday 240.
But for the carpet odours the only thing that work so far for me, was this formula on the link above.(the one with the Borax)
