looking for a small kayak we can use to get to shore. Would like it to fit 1 adult and a Labrador Retriever . Suggestions?thanks

I would suggest trying some rentals, particularly considering the dog requirement. Then consider where it will fit.

Unless it's a miniature lab you are in for some fun wet times. My first dog was a golden lab. Loved duck hunting. Just had trouble getting in and out of the canoe. More than once I was grabbing for my shotgun as Rufus took off out of the canoe. Then finding myself in a swamped canoe while he swam around the boat. Not sure how a small kayak would work.
