I own an 1978 Hunter 27 and need to replace the old Garmin 135. Sailing around Penobscot Bay nothing to far our, suggestions? I did a search but could not find the information I needed.

Have you tried eBay. You might be able to replace the one you have right now with an almost new one of exactly the same model, if that's what you wanted.

I hung around there for a couple of weeks and picked up the Map78s(no sounder) for about $100. since all I wanted was GPS, and variations of that it was all I needed.
