Can anyone recommend best cleaning products for:1. Cleaning oxidation stains from fiberglass deck around stanchion bases.2. Cleaning mild oxidation from srainless SS metal and rigging.3. Restoring external fiberglass to "that new shine"Thanks,Steve

Stain removal

Clean rust stains with FSR or the spray stuff for rust stain remover. Clean your stainless with any good metal polish, and DO NOT wax it. It requires oxygen to its surface to avoid corrosion. I like SeaPower for fiberglass followed by a coat of wax. Do small areas at a time for good results. Larry

Once again I sing the praises

For small surface oxidation on stainless & chrome (read minor rust) I must recommend a cleanser called Bar Keeper's Friend. The stuff is amazing. At less than 2 bucks a can, you must try it. I have seen it bring a fire damanged stanchion that was orange in color back to nearly new condition. I admit, it is not a polish, but for stainless, it works as well as anything I've tried. GET SOME
