Best Bottom Paint for C30

I have just pulled my 1979 C30 and have found a local shop to sand and repaint the bottom. I live in Montana so the shop has months to complete the project. I am very confused as to which paint to use and currently am leaning towards VC17. My wife (the Admiral) and I like to race "Defiance" in the Friday night FUN races. We are not very good at it, its our first year! But hope the paint might help. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers, Jerry Magnuson

VC

The VC is a great choice however if you do not have a good smooth bottom to begin with I would use some other type. VC goes on very thin and will not cover up much in the way of imperfections. I race my boat on a regular bassis and just recently after finally getting blisters under control went to the VC and really like both its speed and antifoul properties.
