If anyone read Practical Sailor last year (The Consumer Reports of Boating) They named the PLOW anchor- West Marine - fairly expensive - as the best anchor on the market. They used all kinds of scientific tests to quantify their analysis. I bought one for my Passage 42. I'll let you know how it goes this summer. I stowed a large Danforth and a 45# CQR to try it out.
