When you check in at Ordinance Island they may let you lay along side, either at the customs dock or the other docks close by. Have fender boards ready. The harbor master's office is right there, just east of the customs office. If you need fuel, you will need to go out around Ordinance Island to the fuel dock just to the east. You can also buy water there for 20 cents a gallon when I was there two years ago. If you need a slip with water and electric then the St Georges Dinghy Club, just inside and to the north of Governor's Cut would be a good place to hang. They also have showers and food there. The town square also has bathrooms with hot and cold salt water but no showers. Dumpsters are on the dock right next to where the ferry comes in. It is a short walk to pick up a bus and ferry pass that will take you anywhere on the island. The grocery is about a block back from the water front and has all the basics, including rum. The local bananas are the little ones on the floor. They also have an excellent buffet set out for breakfast or dinners. Some great selections of fine food that you buy by the pound. They will also get you block ice if you ask ahead of time. There is no water or electric if you decide to dock right down town and it is kind of busy.
I anchored out and it was very nice with lots of room and a short dinghy ride into the town square. It is a bit of a walk from the dinghy club. I would take a daily dinghy ride out behind Higg's Island, by the cut, for my snorkel and bath, then ride back to the boat for a fresh rinse. The water is nice and warm as is the air. The forecasts got kind of boring because nothing ever changed.
Everything about Bermuda is warm and friendly, Steve.
