Bent strut

Does anyone know of a company that can make a strut
for an 85 h37c?

I believe it is the Dahmer sailboat strut H-34.

Dahmer Marine is out of business and/or for sale.

Checked with Southeastern foundries Corp and they don't have
anything.

Marine hardware will make a pattern and cast one for a lot of $$

Of course!! What a great way to spend my retirement. Wondering if there will ever be another guy out there bending his strut and willing to replace it !!

Oh I had this same problem except my strut was completely broken. I went up to marine hardware too but it was just too expensive, like 600 bucks so I went with a local welding shop. A local welder may even be to repair your old one instead of replacing it like I had to for 200 dollars.

We had during the winter a brief discussion regarding struts. Now I am back at the boat (ice and snow are gone) I have been able to inspect my strut which has been broken, twisted and straightened over the years. It is indeed clearly marked H34. The boat is a Hunter 37C - 1981
