I bend my pulpit rail today:doh:. After a 30 mile round trip, too much sun and tired I came in to my slip only to have the gear lever stick. Fumbled around and glanced of the end piling of my pier. My poor wife was up there trying to help, lucky no one was hurt. Only a small area where the stantion base ripped out damaged the fiber glass. Repairable, but I'm still upset, probably cause I know it could have been worse.
Anyone have ideas on how or what to replace the pulpit rail with. I doubt if Rudy has any left.

Find a marine fabricator

Someone used to working with stainless tubing like for biminis or dodgers or even bow or stern pulpits. They may be able to use the existing one and just repair the damaged section or if the entire assembly is twisted up use the old one as a pattern for a new one. Stainless welding is pretty easy for welding but you should make sure it is passivated afterwards, this removes contaminants that cause corrosion.
