Instead of hijacking my thread as a matter of courtesy why not start another thread about the selden sprit.?

Guys/Russ,

As I see it AND read it the bow sprit portion of this discussion is NOT what SBO would deem a thread hijack. If you want to cruise these guys are discussing pertinent points one may legitimately want to know about. ALL of these points are directly related to the Bene's in question.

Russ these guys have given you a TON of very good information so please don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

A thread hijack would have been:

"Hey Ducati you want to meet at hooters after the race?"

And then a number of posts discussing the waitresses at Hooters.

Threads tend to wander here on SBO so you're just going to have to understand that.

Russ, as a new member WELCOME!!!

You bet, I'm sure the Hooters girls would love to talk about my bowsprit...

It's kinda like being at a party, starting a conversation, going to the kitchen for a beer then coming back 20 min. later and wondering why they're still not talking about your conversation.

Too often newbie's start a thread and then we never hear back from them. A quick note after a post or even a few to even say thanks, great info etc. lets the writer know that his time spent in replying is being heard.

.... and welcome, this is a great place :D

As for the holding tank, we were able to (just barely) install what I think I recall was a 30 gallon tank.
I thought about a 30, but could not figure out a way to strap it down!!! The 20 gallon tank I found was much easier. Was scared by the math... didn't want 300 pounds of CRAP loose under the vee berth. But if you got a good strap on yours, perfect... we often come in close to filled.
