My 2008 B323 has a bent Tip Long Screw (between the two turnbuckles). Does anyone have any experience in obtaining a replacement? Anyone know the part number or any other distinguishing characteristic? The existing screw is about 15 cm long with a diameter of 8mm.

I doubt you'll find it at Beneteau, as it is probably a "local-sourced item". Doesn't hurt to look, though, and see what that site has to offer. Otherwise, it'a whole new turnbuckle, I'd think. Is it spec'd in the owner's manual?

I'm guessing that the turnbuckles are either Johnson or Hayn products. If the turnbuckle bodies are OK it,seems like you should be able to source the threaded section that fits between the two turnbuckle bodies.

I have a 323 and to me the two dumbest things about the rig are the double turnbuckle system that looks like a bandaid for having made the backstays too short , and the lack of a turnbuckle in the forestay. Adjusting the backstays requires three wrenches and at least one extra hand. Attaching them after the reinstalling the mast at the beginning of the season is ridiculous.

Thanks for your reply! I was told that they are NavTech products but regardless, I like your idea of just sourcing the bolt.
