Beneteau Aft Shower Door Connector

I have a 2009 Beneteau 46. The aft shower door connector piece to starboard bulkhead was "torn off" on passage by crewmember falling against it. Beneteau parts only sell the entire unit for 3+K. Does anyone know who the manufacturer of this part is? Does anyone know a fabricator who could build a replacement? See pic.

Sounds like an insurance claim to me. That's what it's there for. Have your 'crewmember' pick up the deductible.

Don't know what/who you have in Deltaville, but a plastics fabricating shop should be able to duplicate it for you. One shop in Annapolis made 3 new shelves for the head in an aqua color. Check the yellow pages... or google.

If all else fails, try to find a wholesaler for plexiglas or lexan , and using the broken part as a template find a fabricator who can make up a new part.
