I just purchased this vessel, all shower pumps are missing and y valves, can some one help me determine which pumps to purchase. I also want to test my own rigging ideas welcome. I am also installing a new Duogen wind hydro generator, any comments welcome. I also plan to purchase emergency life raft, comments welcome, And most of all I will need radios and maybe some equipment to attempt to get internet while on Pacific passage. You are asking some fundamental questions. Most people planning on attempting this type of voyage would have some deep opinions on these matters which for you seem like wide open questions.

1. diaphragm pumps are best for shower sumps, install a check valve between the sump and the pump. Y valves for shower sumps?
2. No clue what you're asking.
3. Try www.cruisersforum.com, search on Duogen, lots of discussions in the electrical section.
While a friend sailed on a 40 footer to Hawaii and couldn't rave enough about it. They didn't use it as a wind genny, IIRC, they trailed it, but I could be quite wrong.
