Beneteau 461 Mast Stepping

I am thinking of purchasing a Beneteau 461 and have a question about stepping the mast. I am going to bring the boat up the Champlain Canal to Lake Champlain at some point and will need to step the mast to get it past Albany (northbound) under the bridges on the canal.
How difficult is it to step the mast with a crane or similar mast stepping pole and is there anything particular that could bite us in the process?

Not too difficult at all. I would recommend Riverview in Catskill for the job. Much better than DIY at Castleton.

About the only thing which might give you trouble is lack of expertise of the crew doing it. Otherwise, this is a pretty straight-forward task and there is nothing unique about a B461 in this respect.

Thanks, I talked to the folks at Castleton about the DIY and its something we could handle if needed. But I wasn't aware of Riverview -- would much prefer to have someone with more experience do this, especially away from my home marina.
