It's a serious raceboat. Light, fast sturdy, and stylish. I know because I previously owned a 1996 36s7 and had no trouble selling it when the time came. Philip Starck's interior is not only stunning, it is also intelligent and very functional. It grows on you. I sold her because I needed a heavier boat. I am not into racing. Go for it.
Hello James, The first place to look is the following link on the Beneteau web site. The "S" serie first from Beneteau are indicative of the name of the french designer Philippe Stark that did the styling on this serie of boats in the late 80 to mid 1990 (32 to 42 feet). The naval architecture was made by Beneteau long time collaborator Jean Berret. They are good performers as most first are. Good luck
