Hi:

I am considering purchasing a 36CC and wanted any feedback from 36CC owners on its strengths and weaknesses and any problem areas. Also, was a 2000 model built in the US? Thanks.

I own a 361, but a good friend has a 2000 36CC. They were made in france but are supported by the Marion factory. He loves it, absolutely loves it. We pretty much sail head to head, but he is a better skipper than I am and can really get the most out of the boat. I think the aft cockpit is probably a little faster. For whatever reason the 36cc sails better than their 40 and 44 foot cousins. If you like, I can see if he would mind discussing via email or phone.
