Beneteau Oceanis 361 Clipper --
I have a Jabsco manual toilet installed in my Beneteau Oceanis 361 and there aren't any vented loops either in the outlet or inlet pipe of the toilet, neither in the pipe discharging in the holding tank behind the toilet. Is this normal?
Regarding the holding tank, it has a ventilation pipe right next to the pipe coming from the toilet discharge elbow.
Thanks

Your question is answered in another thread ongoing now...

Click on this link

and then scroll down to post # 8 and read from there. Wouldn't hurt you to read the whole thread though.

The manual for your toilet should be useful too...you can download and print it from here:

And I think you'd also find it worthwhile to spend a little time reading the discussions in the Head Mistress forum...a lot of your questions will be answered.

Peggie thank you very much.
I have studied more carefully the whole thing but I am a bit confused. The set up I have is as shown in the attached diagram. Toilet outlet goes to a Y valve where you can choose to discharge in the sea or in the holding tank (by closing the seacock). The toilet is, I think, below the water line so I will install a vented loop in the pipe from pump to wc (shown as number 1).
The holding tank is well above the toilet discharge elbow. Where am I going to install the second vetned loop? At point 2 or point 3? If it has to be point 2 will I have to bring that loop at a height above the holding tank?
Thanks
