Beneteau 35 cockpit leaky cooler

I have a 2016 and the center cockpit cooler/table does not have a plug; small hole and water leaks out when ice melts.

I always figured it was just storage and open by design. We use ours for storage of things like instrument covers and air horn, so it needs to drain any rain water that gets in the top. If you use it as a cooler then like Stu says you’ll need to fashion a plug somehow.

No insulation on any of the beneteau cockpit area so it was probably designed for empties. At least that's what we think.

Probably for when you wash the inside area with water, it can drain out.

Find a small YETI cooler and slip it inside. Ice will keep a long time and beer on ice is always welcoming.
