Beneteau 323 questions (heave to and dodger)

Two questions for 323 owners (or those who know):
1. Does the 323 heave to effectively?
2. Has anyone managed to install a dodger? (if so, how did you manage this with a traveler located so close to the companionway hatch?)

Yes, I've done this and the images do not show sufficient detail to answer my question: "how did you manage this with a traveler located so close to the companionway hatch?"

Relocate it in front of the dodger. Saw one like that.

It fits just aft of the traveler with a steep front glass.

The guy installing it is not sure how to have the screen/window strip secured aft of the traveler over the sliding hatch. He's thinking of installing a 1x1 strip of PVC (something like that) for the window to attach to, but it's guesswork. Was hoping someone with a Beneteau 323 would have installed one already and solved the problem.

Posting a pictures would be helpful here...... I know different size, however on my 423 I have a sea hood and it all attaches easily. I can take a picture if you would like when I get to my boat

Here's a good shot of one; looks like the canvas guy installed a zippered tab that runs under the traveler. Not the prettiest dodger with the steep windscreen but that could be fixed with a better frame design. Interesting 'solution'....
