Beneteau 323 missing mid-ship cleat for spring lines

Hello all, our Beneteau 323 is missing a mid ship cleat for spring lines, so we use modified spring lines to the fore and aft cleats. Not ideal. Has anyone had luck installing toe rail or jib traveller cleats? Any concerns about doing damage to the deck fittings by having a custom cleat attached there and kept under so much regular strain?

If you really want a secure mid cleat that has minimal impact on your boat try a pair of these.



Thery are strong. They fold out of the way when not in use. They are easy to install with a backing plate.
