Beneteau 323 Jib Tracks Size and Make

Hello I winter my Beneteau 323 (2008) way up the coast in BC Canada. So at the moment I am about 500 miles away from it. I want to rig a Dutchman 500 B (soft vang) boom brake. I will be sailing in Hecate Strait, Dixon Entrance, and South alaska and if or wheather arises, I (for my lady first mate's peace of mind) will want one rigged.

I think rigging the sides of the farthest aft end of the jib track with an aftermarket track pad-eye will be best. Rigging it to the chainplate is too far forward.so here is my problem I cant see or measure the size and make of the jib track. Can anyone, please and thank you, tell me the make, model and size and maybe send me a photo of the jib track. Thank you. Also any comments of the rigging or method or what worked best for you. I live just 200 yards from my 323, but snow blockage and I blew my rotator cuff, it might be a few days or so before I can get on my boat to verify what I think are the numbers. I believe one-inch, but IIRC, it may be a bit more, as I once tried some sliders that did not fit. I have my digital calipers out, so will get a good measurement. Maybe someone else can-do?

The track as far as I know is Lewmar as are the cars. The track is one inch which makes it a bit wierd.

I was finally able to get on the boat Wednesday, but my caliper battery was dead so could not measure. RATZ! The West and Defender catalogs do not have Lewmar tracks. I do see on page 1046 the Harken 27 mm "low beam track". 25 mm being refered to as "one-inch" (Like the drive shaft) is maybe why I was thinking mine was a bit bigger than one inch @ 27mm. Hhmmm...

The car looks like the Lewmar one on p1041, "Lewmar lead cars", size one made for "lewmar size one track".

I have to track down a new caliper battery and will measure and report back as best I can. It is snowing again in Annapolis.

Ron. Thanks for your efforts. Take care in the snow. My research is gettjng some info. I think it is lewmar track size ? 1 or 2. Drilled plunger or DP for short. But i have not been able to confirm it. Or ? Please dont hurt yourself over my question though.....

Oh, I hurt myself for myself- saving myself from falling overboard when trying to break the ice around the boat. Thought for sure I blew out the rotator cuff, but it is getting better and time will tell if it heals completely. Besides, I had to get on the boat yesterday to get a couple tracks for someone else. And life goes on.

I ordered lewmar parts from an outfit in Chicago. Forgot the name but a quick google search should surface the name for you.

I know the feeling, just got done shoveling about six inches of global warming out of my driveway,..
