Hello I winter my Beneteau 323 (2008) way up the coast in BC Canada. So at the moment I am about 500 miles away from it. I want to rig a Dutchman 500 B (soft vang) boom brake. I will be sailing in Hecate Strait, Dixon Entrance, and South alaska and if or wheather arises, I (for my lady first mate's peace of mind) will want one rigged.
I think rigging the sides of the farthest aft end of the jib track with an aftermarket track pad-eye will be best. Rigging it to the chainplate is too far forward.so here is my problem I cant see or measure the size and make of the jib track. Can anyone, please and thank you, tell me the make, model and size and maybe send me a photo of the jib track. Thank you. Also any comments of the rigging or method or what worked best for you. Paul
