Beneteau 235 Headliner (any good ones?)

Hi,Fantastic boat but I am wondering ifBeneteau ever changed their formulafor the adhesive used in the vinylheadliner that has cause problems?Are later boats better in this respect,if so which years?Thanks!Mark

Sorry I don't really know the answer to your questions re: whether Beneteaue changed the formula of adhesive, but I will tell you most all F235s have the headliner problem. The foam disintegrates over time and thus the headliner falls. I'm in the process of replacing mine with white marine grade indoor/outdoor carpet, it's coming out nice, but it's a big job no matter how you slice it.Have a look at this site for more infohttp://home.earthlink.net/~beneteau235/

Locating this carpet

Steve, I am getting ready to post a page on your solution along with a new vinyl option.Finding the Stamina "Spice" carpeting has not been easy. Evidently, there are two manufacturers of this, "Elements" and "Coronet".I found one place in Georgia that might sell online. Redi-Cut Carpets is a bit hard to pin down. I wonder if there are any other purchase options here.
