I am wondering about the sailing perfomance of the wing keel standard rig ben. first 51 Freers design, Phrf values rate it as poor performer, I am sopecifcally interested in pointing abiliy and light air performance.Presently I am real close to buying this boat but unable to evaluate her performance characteristics since she is in the U.K. and Im in the U.S. when I went to do a sea trial last week there was no wind in the Solent and her bottom was a marine garden. She felt heavy and boggy under power, does anyone out there(other than present owners) have any insight on this model? Jim fischer112@hotmail.com
