Greetings,
I am looking at an Ericson 35 which was surveyed 2 years ago which stated that she had appox 200 blisters ranging from 1/4" to 2" below the waterline. I have done a fair amount of research and have found 2 schools of thought.... 1 is don't worry and when you get around to hauling take care of it (imore of a cosmetic issue) and the other school says that structual damage is going on. I spoke to the person who did the survey and he said take care of it on the next haul out (which is what I liked to here ) and do not let that influence buying the boat but do use the issue to reflect a lower offer price.
Would appreciate anyone who has delt with blisters to chime in and share your stories......
Thanks,
Tim
