Just thought I would share a pic of the anchor windlass install I did on my 37C. Feel free to ask any questions. I have always tried when adding equipment to limit cutting and changing the boat. Thisw install took a lot of planning but in the end is completely below the anchor locker cover. Dan Sheehan AMS

Great idea, I will look at this for my boat. From looking at your picture, doesn't the chain rub on the edge of the anchor locker?

Dan, would like more info

Looks good, nice installation. What make and model of windlass? Looks like you also modified the bow roller setup, what did you install? Picture of the inside V-berth installation would be nice. Separate battery? Electrical install, where did you run the wiring, relay, etc.? Did you setup at tube to run the chain all the way down to the bottom? How Timely

Thanks for the pic, Dan. I am soon going to be doing the same mod. Richard has already asked most of the questions I had in mind. Any chance of a series of pics in the photo forum? There are already some great examples there but we all do things a little differently.
