A couple of beautiful days sailing out of Santa Cruz, California

Paddling back to Bella Barchetta anchored off the Santa Cruz Boardwalk...

Pointing at the Monterey peninsula in the distance... about 22nm away...

Beautiful vessel slipping past me... OK, they were ripping past me!

...but I was gaining easily on this Catalina 25...

I haven't sailed yet this year... arrrrgggghhh...
My days off have been booked with repairing my garage roof rafters and then re-roofing!
But... it's almost done and hope to splash in a couple of weeks!! :mrgreen:

Managed to win a regatta this weekend - even with the tiniest bit of breeze (hardly measurable). But it sure beats weekend days doing home repairs!
