My Hunter 356 has a promarine prosafe galvanic isolator monitor that beeps a warning when shore power is on and dc main switch is on. It doesn't beep when dc main is off and all ac outlets, battery charger, microwave etc work fine. Polarization test normal. Can't find a mechanic with time for a small job, and I'm not electronically inclined. Any clue where the problem could be?

There is an audible alarm when it detects a polarity problem or ground wire fault. I think it is showing a ground wire fault or failure of the isolator. I'm confused about why it only happens when dc main is on...nothing in the manual about a connection from the isolator to the DC system.
