Hi David, absorption charge rate for our house bank around 13.6. Bulk rate around 14.3. Seldom use the hair drier anymore (not much hair there you know), but worked just fine whether connected to shore power or on the inverter. What is the dock power pedestal rated at, 20amp, 30amp, ...?

you need to identify the circuit that went down and, more generally, understand which 120 volt outlets are on which circuits. As a general rule the boat AC is divided into port and starboard by the GFI outlets. One GFI at the beginning of each circuit that is protected by that GFI. The AC panel circuit breaker controls all the circuits so as long as that is not tripped there should be at least one GFI tripped.
