My 76 didn't come with a stern pulpit so I bought the two-piece pulpit from CD. I wanted to modify it to add some more utility. Getting the pieces welded-on would have cost a fortune, so I opted for fasteners. The only part that required some real skill was matching the bend for the lower rung, which I had professionally done. I'm happy with the outcome. I might use velcro to mount the type IV cushions in place at each of the vertical supports.
