I would like to hear what you are using to "re-bed" items on your boats. I am speaking of lifeline stantions (sp?), cleats, blocks, etc., etc. I have used various materials on wooden boats, but am wondering if there is something different or better for use on fiberglass hulls. thanx, GaryG

Polysulfide caulk

I use polysulfide caulk for anything that I may want to remove again in the future. Don't tighten the fitting all the way. Wait 24 hours and then tighten the last bit, so that all the caulk is not squeezed out. If it will never be removed then use 5200. Be sure to use masking tape so as not to get where you don't want it.
