Looking for bedding for the V-berth (pad/topper, sheets, blanket, comforter). I think I read somewhere here that the mattress is 78" long, 63" wide in the middle, 31" at the top, and 48" at the bottom. A queen mattress is 60x80, so seems like a queen mattress pad would fit pretty good. Sailboat Interiors sells a "Universal V-berth sheet set" that they say fits the 310 nicely. Any one tried them?

Would a queen blanket and comforter fit ok? Seems like a king would have too much extra material to tuck under.

I know some folks have sewn their own sheets, but I'd rather spend my time/energy on other projects, plus we still need the blanket and comforter.

Rob,

We use queen sheets and blankets. For the fitted sheets, we just use the queen fitted sheets. They tuck in fine and don't pull out while sleeping.

Good luck,

Jesse

I used King Sheets from Target fore and aft, and my wife completely hated them. So did the kids. No-one wanted to do an overnight because everyone hated the sheets. So I bit the bullet and ordered the sheets from Catalina specific to the fore and aft berths on the 310. They were very, very expensive but well worth it to me because the family loves them and I've had not a single complaint since we put them on board. And we did two overnights this season - and for the second one the kids wanted to stay and extra day! Alas, work did not permit it. :-(

Wow!!! your not kidding about expensive. We went and bought some really nice sets of Egyptian sheets, normal Queen size and they fit well.
