Beaver Lake Arkansas

I am looking into trailering my sailboat up to Beaver Lake in Arkansas. Has anyone sailed up there? Is it a good lake to sail on? Any good areas to put in a Catalina 22. Thanks

Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is beautiful. I go there often to fish, but have never (yet) sailed there. I would consider using Starkey's Marina, a Corps access point near the Dam. I'd guess this was one of the best areas. Also very close to Eureka Springs for land based activity. you might also contact the Beaver Lake Sailing Club out of Fayetteville/Rogers area. it'll be great no doubt.

Lake Ouachita

Have you tried Lake Ouachita yet? In my opinion you can't get better than Lake Ouachita in Arkansas. I live 45 minutes from Greers Ferry and opted for the 2 hour drive to Ouachita. Beaver lake is supposed to be real nice but I don't know how large the lake really is. Tim Welsh H34 AKA Cabo Wabo
