Hello, I have been looking for videos and more comprehensive manuals for the sewage, water and tank systems on our "new to us" 1984 Catalina 27. Any information you have to get us to speed faster with regards to these systems would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried google search? Have you searched the archives here?

Also suggest joining the Catalina 27 association, where there is a wealth of information on these very popular boats. Membership is inexpensive.

You can find the owner's manual online at www.catalina27.org You do not have to join the catalina 27owner's association.... but if you do there are other benefits. In case you weren't aware of this. The Catalina Yachts factory supports all their boats... whether out of production or not. They maintain a fairly good inventory of parts and have been very good in the past at providing customer support. A customer is anyone who owns a Catalina .... it makes no difference whether you bought it new or are in a long line of previous owners.... from dealer or private party...

There is a Catalina 27 group on Yahoo. They can provide some guidance. I would Google your subjects as well. I am sure you will find a wealth of information.

It's actually called "The NEW Get Rid of Boat Odors"...a comprehensive "marine toilets and holding tanks 101" manual that should help you prevent problems instead of having to solve 'em.
