BC Couple Lost in Pacific

Seems they were sailing a 30 foot wooden boat with canvas sails and wooden spars from Hawaii to B.C. From the newspaper it seems possible they had no SSB, EPRB or life raft. Big ocean out there. Very sad.

For the last two months actually.

We've been averaging a gale a week, sometimes two. We had a hurricane wind warning two weeks ago with winds to 114 knots and 48' combined seas. Ya don't mess around off this coast. It will kill you very dead.
