I recently purchased a 1984 Bavaria 820 (27'). This is a model that Bavaria made between 1982 to 1985 and only produced around 130 of them. I don't know how many of them actually made it to the US. It is a very solid and nice boat, but the problem is that there is hardly any printed information out there about the boat (original brochures etc). I am in the process of fabricating a new centerboard for it, and the factory no longer has original drawings. Just wondering if there are any other Bavaria 820 owners floating around out there, or if anyone has any other useful information about the boat. Thanks in advance. AK

The boat was listed though a local broker. It needs a little minor cosmetic work, but it was a very good deal. The hull is as solid as I have seen on boats that age.
