Battery Trickle

I'm trying to figure out what size solar panel to use for trickle charging a 24" 12V deep cycle battery. Battery specs I have (in Greek, to me) are as follows:REF.CA@32(degrees)F = 625CCA@0(degrees) F = 500Mins.@23 amps = 150Mins.@25 amps = 13020 A.H. rate = 75All I run is lights and an occasional tape deck off the battery - no engine starting. Is a five watt solar panel too much for trickle charging when I'm away from the boat? Too little? Thanks for any advice. Drew

Trickle charger

We have a single 12 volt battery and we have a 10 amp solar charger and it works great. If you have a west marine catalog it will have a chart that will help you in figuring out the size and if you will need another switch or if that one that is built into the solar charger will work.Rob
