I just noticed some corrosion on 1 terminal of my Blue Seas group 31 AGM batteries. It is blue corrosion on the negative post. I have 4 house batteries and 1 group 27 start battery. The corrosion is on one of the house batteries. The boat is rarely plugged in as I have a 75 watt solar panel run through an ample power controller. The batteries are only 2 years old and still have some warranty left. Before I get my electrical guy involved any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just clean and grease the terminals. All batteries corrode over time. Chief

Auto parts stores sell cans of cleaner (although a coke will do) and terminal grease. Both come in a spray can. You don't need as much as you think on the grease. (If you ever have to work on it, it we'll get everywhere).

I am using a small battery to work as my house until I get new Gp27DC deep cycles back in. I took my house bank out today and had green and white flakes around the positive terminal (using wet cell). Nothing on the terminal itself and the cells were still topped off after three years of service. I think you will be ok to just clean them.

Well I just got back from the boat and cleaned the terminals very carefully. I must have a hidden problem somewhere. The battery monitor states the batteries are being charged and it shows 14.56 volts but when I try to start the engine it won't turn over. When I put the battery switch to emergency it fires right up.
