After replacing my three year old, and very dead, batteries I have decided to upgrade my charger to something a little more modern and add a Link 20 Battery monitor. Being the tightwad that I am I was looking on ebay at the link 20's but just don't feel comfortable dealing with someone I can't talk to or see. Can anyone suggest where I can purchase a Link 20 from a reputable company at a reasonable price? Thanks for the help. George S/V Windswept _/)

For what is worth

I have purchased several boat things from ebay and everything has been "as advertised" I bought an inverter, battery monitor, another inverter for a friend and have a SSB radio on the way. I am sure there are horror stories ought there as well. Good luck Brian s/v CREW REST

EBay Okay

I bought a Link 20 a few months ago on EBay and it was about 1/2 price. The unit was new, never opened and never used. It works great. Some of the dealers on ebay are not making the high profits that others are. Some may be surplus units. I have bought many items on EBay and have yet to be cheated. Good Luck, Bill Bell

Brian, SSB?

Same experiences with E-Bay, most of my parts including my Link 2000 came from there. Brian, what brand SSB? And why SSB and not HAM? Still have not made the plunge.
