battery location

I just looked at the DC Wiring Diagram from the Owners Manual and it shows a single battery in that location. I have two in that location and it is a tight fit given the curvature of the hull/liner in the aft/port portion of that space. One would fit no problem....

Just purchased H27 1982 last owner has two battries located under aft quater berth. Was this the orignal location? The location does not seemedto be designed for them.

Mine's there too

I have a Hunter 27(1980). I also have two batteries underneath the quarter berth. Seems like a natural place to me. Close to the engine.
