Battery Location H 33.5

I have a 1988 Hunter 33.5. There are 2 batteries installed under the aft-cabin floor near the prop shaft. I believe this to be the factory location. Each battery is a bank. The batteries are group 27

I want to install a 3rd battery so I have a dedicated start and a 2 battery house bank. Secondarily, I would like to possibly make the start battery a group 24 and the house 2 X group 31.

My question to Hunter 33.5 owners. What does your installation look like? How many batteries will fit under the wood aft-cabin floor area?

My boat is a few years newer (1993) so I'm not sure of the layout differences. My system has two house banks. Each bank has a pair of Group 31's. I had room in my rear gull-wing cockpit lockers to store them. Two on each side. This makes it pretty easy to check water levels. I don't have a starting battery. We've never had an issue using one of the house banks to start the 3GM30F. It may make sense for me to change to 3 house and 1 starter down the road.
