I equalized my two 4D batteries today. About 5 minutes before the end of the program, I went below and could smell sulfer gassing. I looked at the Link and saw that the equalization was finished. There were three cells on one of the batteries that had a quarter inch of fluid. I could hear noises coming from within the battery. I covered both and left the shore power off.Before starting, I checked the specific gravity and level of fluid. The instructions said not to overly fill. Each of the cells had electrolyte just below the bottom of the fill tube.Can any of you see a problem? I didn't take the lids off to replenish the fluid as I figured that it might be unsafe.John Richards/v Jack's Place
