The battery is a West Marine Deep cycle gel 86.Being an electronics and battery know not, my only charger here is a Die Hard trickle charger /maintainer. I use it for the small riding mower battery I use in my P18.
I plugged to the deep cycle, at first the charging light stayed steady lit, indicating charging. I checked it about 30 minutes later, the light was flashing, indicates a problem, I know that much because last year I waited too long to recharge the mower battery, charge wouldn`t take. Had to go to a full size charger. Same case here now or can this gel battery not be saved??. Don`t know anything about them. Thanks for replies, remember, speak slowly, short words.
