battery charger VICTRON

I have two battery banks, one with only one small battery type acid flooded type for engine start, and the 2nd battery bank with 4 AGM group 31, 105 AH in parallel. I want to change my old SENTRY, model GS120-2NXJS, 20amp (1994) battery charger and I found a new VICTRON Centaur 12 V 50 amp charger. Any one have any review on this cahrger.?

Don't know about that charger but can you mix battery types on one charger?

I don't know if that charger will allow you to have multiple battery chemistries on a single charger.

The Xantrex XC series has that option. It allows for 3 battery types to be charged with a single charger. They can be found for around $400, similar price to the Victron.

Yes, the Victron , centaur model, battery charger does not have the option to have two different battery banks chemistries, The XC Xantrex battery charger only come for 24 volts and I need 12 volts

Do they have a warehousing service rep in country? When I looked at their battery monitor the support rep was in Europe. That is a recipe for support problems.

Yes, Maritime Electronics Technologies (MET) have VICTRON battery charger for sale. I went this moosning to their store and they gave the USD$ 611,00 for the Centaur 12 V 50 amp. They are loacated in the Marina Bahia Redonda, in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela.
