The current hookup of my battery charger is an extension cord running across the aft berth to an outlet on a Hunter 30t. It is located in the port aft lazz right next to the shore power outlet and the 2 batteries. I would like to either connect it to the shore power as soon as it enters the boat with a fuse in line so that any time shore power is on , it will be on (it's a multistage guest chargepro), or if I have to, run the cord forward about 10ft to the ac/dc panel but then it will be more hassle and on a breaker/switch which could get left off when I leave the boat and thus no charge-o-matic. So, how do some of you all have yours hooked up?
