Can anyone tell me how stiff or soft should a batten be on a full roach Mains? My top most stock fibreglass batten (55"L x 5/8"W x 1/4" thick) is fraying after 8 years and I'm thinking of replacing it. I couldn't get same thickness (1/4") batten but found one that is about 1/8" thick. Its more flexible compared to the stock batten. Is it ok ?
