Hi, I have to put some barrier coat in just some small areas (a few paint blisters and along the boot stripe/water line area) on my Cat 27. The boat yard I am in sells a barrier coat called Sea Hawk 1277 (I believe that is the right name or close to it). I am in the south warm waters of Southwest Florida and would like to know what anyone knows about theSea Hawk 1277 barrier coat as maybe opposed to the Interlux 2000/2001E. Any information anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated. I'm stumped on what to do and also a beginner at this type of thing. The yard tells me that the Sea Hawk is much easier to put on then the Interlux. Thanks.

John, I really think this system is the best. Almost everybody uses it. It's a two part system mixed 5-1. It's simple to use and really isn't that expensive. One quart is probably more than enough to do the job you referred to. Good luck. Sean-- Caarnaby Street
