Barient winch part needed.

I need a plastic part for my Barient 22 39, 2 speed self tailing winch (headsail winch) on my 1993 Hunter 33.5.Australian Yacht Winch Co. email address is no good.Any help is appreciated.

Barient Winch Parts

I contacted Austrailian Yacht Company for spare line strippers and they answered me within a couple of days. The email address I used was: winches@attglobal.net. They also have a website that lists the part numbers. They also take orders using credit cards (via email or fax). Good luck.

Barient Parts

This past fall, I also needed a couple of Barient Parts. They did not respond to my e-mail for three weeks so I called them at 61 29623 22448. After I ordered my line stripper, the ausi said that he knew me my name from somewhere. We finally concluded that he knew my name from my earlier e-mail. He told me that he gets so many e-mails that he just ends up deleting them. However, I had to laugh when he said that the company wants him to do more business via e-mail. He then asked for my e-mail address so they would have it for future referenc. My suggestion is to fax or call them; however, because of the time difference, do it afer 7 or 8 PM.
